Ask a solicitor: My house is built on my uncle's land - but we've fallen out

Dear Karen,
My uncle said that I could build my family home on his lands about six years ago. I got planning and he signed the consent to allow me to apply for planning permission on his land. I was successful in the first application and built a small house on his land for myself, where my wife and my young child currently live from my savings. I did not need a loan.
